Ingredients
1cup(220 g) dry chickpeas cooked, or 1 1/2 cup canned and drained
2tbspmaple syrup
1tspvanilla extract
1tbsppeanut butter
100gvegan dark chocolate or chocolate chips
a pinch of salt optional – to elevate the flavors
a pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
Into a blender/food processor place the chickpeas, vanilla extract, pinch of salt, and cinnamon as well as the peanut butter. Blend till even consistency.
A quarter of chocolate grind or chop to small pieces and stir into the chickpea dough. Roll the bliss balls.
Melt the rest of the chocolate in a microwave or on the stove. Add some plant milk for an extra liquid consistency.
Dip each bliss ball into the melted chocolate. Place onto a plate covered with parchment paper and let cool down in the fridge for 1h (alternatively, place into the freezer for 15 mins).
Serve right away or store in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to 4 days.
