Ingredients

  • 1 cup (220 g) dry chickpeas cooked, or 1 1/2 cup canned and drained
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 100 g vegan dark chocolate or chocolate chips
  • a pinch of salt optional – to elevate the flavors
  • a pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  • Into a blender/food processor place the chickpeas, vanilla extract, pinch of salt, and cinnamon as well as the peanut butter. Blend till even consistency.
  • A quarter of chocolate grind or chop to small pieces and stir into the chickpea dough. Roll the bliss balls.
  • Melt the rest of the chocolate in a microwave or on the stove. Add some plant milk for an extra liquid consistency.
  • Dip each bliss ball into the melted chocolate. Place onto a plate covered with parchment paper and let cool down in the fridge for 1h (alternatively, place into the freezer for 15 mins).
  • Serve right away or store in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to 4 days.
